Programme Educational Objectives

1. To prepare the graduates for successful professional career in the filed of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

2. To contribute effectively in any interdisciplinary field with the knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to develop appropriate solutions to real-world problems.

3. To motivate the application of knowledge to the technological revolution through life-long learning.

 

Program Specific Outcomes

PSO1: An ability to contribute to problem identification, analysis, design and development of systems using principles and concepts of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

PSO2: To apply the skills in the areas of Health Care, Education, Agriculture, Intelligent Transport, Environment, Smart Systems & in the multi-disciplinary areas of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

PSO3: Enhance the abilities to qualify for employment, higher studies and research in Al with ethical values.

 

Program Outcomes

Engineering graduates will be able to

1. At the end of the programme the student will be able to apply the basic knowledge in mathematics, science and engineering.

2. At the end of the programme the student will be able to identify, analyse, and formulate complex engineering problems in the domain of computer engineering.

3. At the end of the programme the student will be able to: Effectively use computing tools for analysis, design and implementation of computing systems which resolve real life problems.

4. At the end of the programme the student will be able to:Design and conduct experiments, as well as to organize, analyse, and interpret data.

5. At the end of the programme the student will be able to: Use modern tools for engineering practices.

6. At the end of the programme the student will be able to: Understand the impact of an engineer in general and Computer Engineer in particular on societal, safety, health, legal, and cultural issues.

7. At the end of the programme the student will be able to: Understand the need and impact of computer engineering solutions on environment and its sustainability.

8. At the end of the programme the student will be able to: Understand the professional, legal, and ethical responsibilities in engineering practices.

9. At the end of the programme the student will be able to: Function effectively on multidisciplinary teams to accomplish a common goal.

10. At the end of the programme the student will be able to: Communicate effectively by oral, written, and graphical means.
